With the world shaking events on
September 11th, America apparently
realized that its
"intelligence" may need a
little fine tuning. Our hearts are
heavy for the tragedies in New York,
Washington and Pennsylvania. This
great nation has come together and
seems poised to take on this mighty
quest to rid the world of a shadowy
foe. Information is paramount and
whether we realize it or not, some of
us really don't want to know what we
think we want to know (you know who
you are)...

The
world has fought a terrible virus
known as terrorism for quite some
time. Well, guess what boys and girls?
Another computer virus is worming its
way to a pc near you. The W32/Nimda@MM
virus is a HIGH RISK predator
that can affect home and business
users of Win9x/NT/2000/ME. The virus
spreads via email, shared drives,
folders or files, and infected HTM/L
(Web) pages. In addition, it will look
for IIS servers to infect via the
Microsoft Web Folder Transversal
vulnerability (also used by W32/CodeBlue).
Virus Tracking 101
According to McAfee, approximately 47%
of the computers worldwide have been
infected by some type of virus in the
past year. That's about 50 million
files!
